The only time I've deliberately stayed in a lower division was 3 seasons ago when I went for the Kangaroo tour. It was my plan all season long, then Brasil just started inexplicably winning everything so I had to put him on practise for Rotterdam Classic because even a top 9 would've put me in the higher division.

Since then I've been trying to get back to div 1 and I'm finally there.

Oh sorry Jime, I kind of assumed that you did since you have been in Top Division before. But that was before you went One Nation offcourse.

I kinda disagree. I didn't deliberately drop this season and was only recharging top form for the first 10 days or so of the season, so the races in div 3 were to get enough points to be out of div 3. I only made it to division 1 in the final few days of the season. I even missed Mito Tokyo and Vjele Kobenhaven because I was stuck in div 3.

Aside from my sprint team, I definitely don't have division 1 quality riders. We'll find out this season if I'm good enough to stay there.

Either way, I wouldn't include myself for this award this season. Didn't achieve enough.

Talking about big wins, I left out Michael Danner who won Coppa della Famiglia del Don (div 2) and Cymru Taith (div 2). Not far from nominees I would say.
Curious to how other people think about this.

I think it's a bit harsh on Jime. He has a Div1 captain in Brasil, so his SP team is definitely Div1 quality. But Goege has a very equal team depth-wise. And he has the majority of his wins in Div2. But they are close indeed, so I'm fine either way.

Jime is actually a Top Division team that does not need to be in Division 3 to get results in my opinion. That is why I put Goege in over Jime.

I would personally put Jime in over Goege. Obviously getting that high with Namibians is awesome, but he does lack a big result.

Checking looks good to me. Very tough category.
