Best Rider Outside Top Division

Yeah, it's supposed to be no wins or podiums, not any kind of points. So Taipo would be eligible.
Last season I figured this was too confusing of a metric and decided it would probably be better to use points inside category here as well. But then I forgot to tell Llotyhy to add it when he made the threads here. So that will be from next season on probably.

You may be right about Taipo. Depends on what result means in this context:
A result as in: entering a top div race (YES)
A result as in: earning points for the OCM tour in top div (YES)
A result as in: top-3 in race/SC/YC, top-9 in classic/tour standings in top div (NO)

Taipo entered top div races and also earned points (ended 5th and 9th in Top div races).
Maybe some of the more permanent members of the committee can clarify

I forgot about Uchman, he could be nominated to yes, but i mainly focused my search on top 50 riders.
Txebe Taipo could've been a good choice if he didn't have any Div 1 results.

What I am missing on this list is riders who have actually won something important. It seems only to be about points. Should the best rider outside top division not win at least one major classic, tour classification or cup?

I don't care much about whether my riders are nominated or not, but Uchman has won 4 jerseys and is not nominated.
Txebe Taipo (Nikoline) has won 2 jerseys and scored 976 points and should be on this list.

You didn't need to mention every race, just the classics, tours, and cups (and not even the stages). But no worries, that's easy for me to delete, so you don't have to bother yourself doing it.
What is important for next time is that you need to mention the amount of wins/results. But I will count them up for you this time as well.

I guess Abbas doesn't really need to be in, so for me he should go, I think the other 6 are definitely good enough. So 6 nominees would be fine with me unless someone else misses another rider.
