Varela could be up but I feel Bailey might have done more (better placings in the palmaresthings and more points in category). And I dont feel either should be in.

Both not close to a clean sweep at the highest level sprintCup of the game. Not sure it really matters for the outcome whether Varela is in or not.

I vote Plank of the three up there right now.

Perhaps Xalbador Varela should be one of the voting group? Chilibot doesn't include the 1st stage of the tour of the western cape in its list of races but that race clearly qualifies for this category and Varela won that, so his points tally is 740 and he has 3 wins including 1 classic placing and the Nederlandse tour placing (also a tour of the western cape placing somehow, but that doesn't count). Maybe he comes before Karcev?

Otherwise the nominations look good.

In this case they don't really matter. Wrt lower divisions, Ajaezu won both Baltimore and Ural in D4, and was 2nd in SC in Fast on Wheels. All results in one TF-period, so didn't think it was enough. Jeremy Scheppers (1035 sprintpoints, just one win), Bernard Wakit (winner Norwich-London', one more win), Gus Bailey (2nd GC, winner YC Nederlandse, 940 points), didn't do enough to be considered. Anyhow, bit more difficult category than last season, with no one standing out as much as we have seen before.

Probably won't matter, but I added the new tour Jawlat Oman Lesalahef, and the two lower division SP cups to the GC points that count.
