I must say I'm honoured to be nominated, but most of my tools and contributions were done earlier and some are getting outdated. I did some fun stat previews this season, but that's it. If people want to nominate me for that + older stuff that's cool of course, but I honestly think others have been contributing more to the community in this specific season.

My vote would go to Chili by the way, he's always approachable if you want some info, data or explanations regarding Chilibot.

Well, it is a bit difficult now, because when someone like Yuri isn't nominated, it kinda misses the point of the category, which is to reward the community for being active. As an Admin I'm forced to be active, but someone from the community itself really shouldn't miss out because he would make it too hard for others to win. That would not really stimulate continuing to be active after you got the Award. It's still an Award, so it should be a competition still.
The issue is that I do not want to be nominated, so it's not a Committee decision, it's a personal nominee decision (and one that I won't be convinced on ). If Yuri or anyone else doesn't want to be nominated either they won't be. So I will ask him how he feels about it.

Don, yes you are going to be in view a lot, but his season with the Romanian episode, I think you deserve extra "brownie points" for how this all got handled and the amount of time and effort you had to expend, both publicly and (I hate to imagine how much) privately. Please reconsider your nomination.

Yuri can be nominated again, but it's not THAT long ago, and I think if he gets nominated, he wins it, while there are so many other people to appreciate.

Yuri is actually allowed to be nominated again, so he definitely has a shot as well.
Christian created the badges indeed, so he will definitely be considered.
Simon won last season, so he'll have to wait.

As far as nominating me goes, I find it is too easy to get noticed for me as an admin, and I get recognition for my work constantly, so I feel others deserve the spotlight here. But I appreciate the nice words Twan.

Since we don't have community suggestions, here's my 2 cents already:

ABK: always a lively character, helpful in the support forum, and puts a lot of effort into getting many people into Velogames.
Erwin (Silenzio): already considered (or even nominated?) last season. Awards committee, sprinters thread, tour previews, 2020/21 managers rank.
Don: You would probably dont agree with this yourself, but it's been well over 3 seasons, so rules allow it. It has been a rough season because of the whole Alex/David situation, which took you a lot of energy-draining time probably. Then you helped with adding new features/badges/whatnot. Also, the Geoguesser-thingy is a nice idea.
Christian also could be one of the nominees again. He did some badges (right? It's a part of the game I am not familiar with yet ) and wrote some previews this season.
