I think some of the others could have more of a case than Barry, but everyone deserves to win this award so no big problem with Barry getting nominated

Seems all fine to me. While I agree that Barry comes a little bit out of left field I do think you are completely correct that it gives the post-communist teams a really nice place, with a (small) active group of people that frequent the thread. Also I am honestly not entirely sure how to check this but what I can search it all looks perfectly fine

I don't think we need to restrict the search just to people who've contributed in the last season.

I'd suggest renominating the people who've missed out in the past, but surely deserve it too.

It seems like everbody who contributes (although less than others) will get nominated until they got the award, which is not a bad thing. So only when you feel it becomes far-fetched I would go back to previous winners.

Not a lot, that's the problem.
The forum has been without games, and most activity is catered by former winners of this award.

Last season we had a lot of people working along on the Tours, which really helped. And of course there is always the Awards people, but it feels a bit weird to fill the nominations with our own.
I guess it'll be fine though, I just felt it was almost unfair to someone like Yuri or Holwerda who do so much to keep looking for people who do one or two things. But it's still good to keep rewarding people for that as well.

I am really struggling to find nominees for this, and strongly considering breaking the unwritten rule to not nominate any of the previous winners if they don't want to be nominated (including myself).

Besides the Awards Committee work I can only find these 3 possible nominees. If I fill it up with Awards members, is that enough for you all, or would you prefer me, Frank, dustin, and Yuri to be nominated instead. (Silenzio and Christian would also be active enough to be nominated, but have won in the past three seasons, so I will stick to the written rule)
