With respect to this category I feel climbers and sprinters have advantage of multiple races. Not enough probably this season but twice 2nd for canadian cobbler Zampogna is really notable in Paris and Russia.

+1 for Yermolay Sedelnikov. Incredible season in both WT and OCM.

I'd make an argument for Carder... but it's true, at the moment IoM is a bigger country than Bulgaria (though same amount of active teams... probably).

I personally felt like the competition in WT D wasn't really good enough to deserve to be represented here (and that included my own Greenland). So I would leave out Mayoyo in favor of Sedelnikov.

Good methode
I would suggest one swap then. Bulgaria is a smaller nation than Isle of Man. So Huzarov in for Carder

Went through the Top-50 riders and selected those who had at least one win (with the exception of the 5 Top 9s rider). Then sorted by results and which nations they are from (smaller nations got the pick ahead of bigger nations due to the difficulty involved with getting the result in the first place)

Top 3 I agree.
I feel that all other riders are a bit arbitrary. Alastair O'Neal, Yermolay Sedelnikov, Ano Koppala and Ruslan Hazurov are quite as good. How did you decide who is in or out?

So went with a solid Top-3, two riders with multiple wins and the other who has got 5 Top-9s in one season which is pretty consistent for WT.

The other three are like wildcards selected from smaller countries. All three have decent results
