Agree with Brasil, Maharjan and Guinassi. I'd add Pierewaaijer to the mix, 2 classics in a single season is pretty rare, especially for a younger rider.

I am not sure, but I think both WT and U23 races dont count here...? That goes for every category except best WT rider and U23 rider respectively, right Don?

I think Cups dont have a YC btw, visual bug in the riderprofiles.

Nominations for young rider.... Brasil is the standout and will win this category. The question is who gets nominated with him. I've listed 5 more based on tour performances and overall points.

Trzcinski is in on points, while Kovanda was the only rider other than Brasil who won both GC and YC in a tour (Edmonton). Also a classic podium. The remaining 3 are self-explanatory (I hope!).

At the moment I side with eliminating Trzcinski and Torrens but suspect majority would prefer to eliminate Kovanda and someone.
