I see not all lists are finished yet. With the ones that aren't finished yet, you should take into account that riders or teams may have gained or lost points today, so watch out for any false numbers!

guys like Pettersen certainly fitt the bill to be nominated, as long as they got a significant amount of results/wins.
Although lower division are easier to get results in, so it will have to be more results than for a Div2/3 rider to be significant

Would you guys consider a guy like Petter Pettersen (who completely tore apart Fast on Wheels in Div 5, winning all jerseys, plus some other victories) fit for a nomination in Outside Top Division? Seems like this category is often occupied by riders who have their best results in 1.1 races and had the 'luck' of not scoring in Div 1. I'd love to look a bit further down. In fact, he basically even fits the rules for Best Breakthrough.

Oh and what to do with Jan-Peter Werff if he becomes World Champion tomorrow, yet scored no points in Div 1?

I completely agree with Pekac, so that makes life a lot easier

Stages / races such as stage 9 of Germany tour, I would count into both categories - > SP and HL.

My idea would be that HL / SP stages should be counted in case that HL is the highest required skill in the stage - stage 4 of Nederlandse should be fine.

For SP, I would say, it should include all races / stages where SP / FR or TQ is the highest required skill (except from TTs / prologues).

Couple more questions, do hill sprint stages count for sprinter, like the 4th stage in the Nederlandse tour?

And how do we define a sprint stage? Do flat road stages/races count as sprint stages/races?

Just done a few Hillers and quite a lot of the races they've scored points in have Hill the same as Fr or Sp, or they've scored points in FR races. Do I count races that have the same Hill stat as Flat Road or Sprint Stat?

Youth Classification only counts in the Young Rider or the Tour Rider category, Sprint Classification only in the Best Sprinter and Tour Rider categories
Sprinters do get points from sprint races in tours, just as climbers for climbing stages and hillers in hill stages, but they don't get points for the GC or other stages
- note worthy are indeed the things you mentioned, but I like to just keep it to the 1 or two best results of the rider, because otherwise you'll get long lists

and Menni, I would love to change some things from next season, but for now there's not enough time left. So we could continue the discussion about changes in a Discussion thread, here on the Awards forum and decide what we'll d0 next season

-Do Youth Classification and Sprint Classification count as a note worthy result?
-Do Sprinters get the points from sprinting races in tours?
-Do Hillers get points for hill races in tours?
-What are note worthy results again? Classic Top 9, GC Top 9, YC Top 3, SC Top 3?

This Laurend Bourgois guy is really getting out of control, or: what a difference experience makes! Although I must say, his support is very, very solid. Will be interesting to see in which categories he'll end up!

Been reading a bit about the previous seasons' voting process, funny to see the discussions going on about what exactly make a rider/team/manager great. I'm already running into some head scratching decisions which makes me want to bend the rules .
