I wrote this in the post I accidentally deleted, but agree with Coulter. Brazil had a great season, but didn't outperform some smaller countries with a lesser selection of riders, Namibia included.

El Salvador and Hong Kong up for vote makes sense to me. I'll add their info later.

I think Brazil shouldn't be nominated -- NZ had a better season with less active teams and less riders and I agree with NZ not being nominated. For me, WT isn't all about wins, its more about rankings -- many nations don't have any riders likely to win a WT race (especially WT A), so those who lie high up the rankings with little to no riders deserve nominations: Hong Kong, El Salvador would be my choice for voting purposes. Winning over the big nations like Norway, England or the Netherlands (esp!) is often luck in WT.

Netherlands had 3 straight wins in CoN, 7 other results

@Silenzio fair enough with El Salvador and Hong Kong, but I'm still not convinced by Brazil. Equalling Namibia but with a better selection of riders, including Douglas Brasil...

Wrt the discussion: Its correct that the four you mention have 1 win.

Since El Salvador has 4 other results I think the deserve to be in the vote.
I think Hong Kong should be included too: 2 wins and 2 other results (1 ranked team, 8 ranked riders) --> 25th with 408 points.
I think I like Brazil for the vote too. They tie 8th place with Namibia, so would say rank 8th.

Would leave out Kyrgyzstan and Timor-Leste. 1 win and 1 other result isn't enough in this case I think. Other countries Belgium, Germany, Macau, Colombia, Wales, Liechtenstein, Burundi had two wins.
