I am voting for Witham here as well, which makes it a tie. I will break that tie by some executive force here.

My reason for this: Arseny won a Div 7 sprinting Cup and a Div7 SC. The Division 7 Cup (where 4 of his 7 wins come from) had just 4 teams in the top-9. There was no competition there at all. So that win does not deserve a nomination here. The SC is a fair and good win, but still Div7 and, more importantly, a SC, so not really that important for Best Tour Rider.

Btw, I would have voted for Isleikursson over Witham, but I guess when his own manager doesn't want him in, it's only fair to leave him out. Wink

I think I would put Isleikursson up for vote instead of Arseny.
Rest looks good. This is the first time I actually feel like a sprinter deserves to win this one with how all-round Dorinsky has proven to be.

Yes, stage wins counts as wins inside category, I find it a bit misleading myself, but I guess we have always be doing it like that.

I did not include Traore because he did not win a tour. He did win the YC of NL Tour, but that was not good enough for me. YC of cups do not count, it is a bug that it appears on the rider page.
Arseny is a doubt indeed, but then I would rather have Þorvaldur Ísleikursson (won Cymru, 3rd in Essex).

Hi Frank, nice work. You said this is your first time for this category, so let me give you my 2cents as a more experienced manager Wink

First a question: in the opening post by Don it is said that GC and YC count more than SC (which makes sense) but there is nothing about the stages of the tour. You are taking these into consideration. Is that correct? My feeling says the classifications should in any case be regarded much higher than stages in this category.

Shu Jin has performed at 3 tours of the highest level. No brainer.
Darian has won a GC, YC and SC, all ata high level, which is impressive as well.
I think my third choice would be Jean Pascal Traoré, who is not currently on your list. He has won the YC of both Nederlandse and Cali (though the latter is not shown on the tour overview page...?) and came second in the GC of both, besides winning 2 stages and getting 2 more results. All in division 1/1.1.

The vote in my eyes would be between Witham and Aron, as Arseny did good but at a too low level.

Remember, if you're nominating (or voting for that matters), GC's and YC's are always more important than SC's. Only nominate a sprinter if he's actually gone and win more than one tour or Cup (of course SP tours still count), or if he did extraordinarily well in multiple ones.
