I've just realised that Sicco has also already won the Award 2 times. So not nominating TVM because of that would be a bit of a mistake. I will add TVM to the form, we'll have 5 nominees there, and we'll let the community vote on the addition of a rule for next season.

As for unknown and incomprehensible reasons Gewoon Rechtdoor is not nominated my vote will go to Himalaya. Caro is good, but similar to the three already selected, so thats why I’d put Himalaya as 4th.

I will add Himalaya Bikers instead of PetrolGas a little later today.

This is a difficult category, as there are probably other criteria depending on how old the team actually is...

Phil is a great guy, and it is a great achievement to be where he is after less than a year of playing OCM, but after winning this trophy twice and also becoming an older team the bar should rise a bit for him. TVM dropped to division 7 purposely at the end of the season, and all his wins are from division 7 (mainly), 6 and Fast on Wheels in 5.

How about Himalaya Bikers? Started in june 2020, now around 200th spot. And this team has been competing in the 4th and 5th division the whole season, seeing all their 10 results are accomplished there.

I think we might have discussed that. I'll give that a check.

Edit: we didn't discuss it in public, so I will add a poll about this to the form this season. Unless the entire committee feels like it should be a new rule immediately. I would definitely support it myself.

TVM has won it the last two seasons. Didn't we say it cannot be nominated, or was that for another category?

The other two are both not first teams, but TVM is a very good candidate indeed, so I agree!

Yeah, but you can't know if the managers have had a previous team before, so that's something I'll always have to check.

I think if you could post the top 4/5 of the teams below 1 year old it would be great. Then we can look at if there's some good ones there.

The rest are all meeting the requirements, so they are allowed to be nominated.
I do feel Sicco and Millican might be a bit on the Old side for teams that didn't win any classics, cups or tours. I think there might be a few younger teams that did win one of those, so I will take a look and see if I can find those somewhere today or tomorrow. Of course they did score very well, so they're not weird nominations any qay.

PetrolGas has a former team, so they can't be nominated. I'll check it for the rest tomorrow.
