Oosterhof has to be out indeed. Shiwak would probably not be missed either.
Molhoek is definitely better there, so he should be in first.
I would love to make a case for Gatto being the 7th best rider this season, but it's completely subjective (and he would also finish 7th in the votes).
Moring I don't agree on. Impressive season, no doubt, but YCs are still YCs. You only have to beat 3-4 other guys max.

Difficult to make criteria like that Llotyhy, because a rider like Gatto scores in three different categories. So he would have 3 chances to be excluded. Maybe 1 of every main specialty (CL, SP, HL, CB, TT) should have to be in. Then there are 2 wildcard spots left. But still, a season like this with no proper hiller makes that dubious.

Agreed about the sprinters. I'd rather not have more than 2 riders of a certain discipline in this category. Maybe that should even be a requirement, Don?

I'm not sure I agree on the tour riders bit. I'd probably pick Barclay Moring over all of these guys. It's about the best rider of the season. Not the sprinter with the most points.

Like Holwerda said, Wubbe Molhoek is a requirement.

Aune was 3rd in OCM ranking but indeed no need to nominate him. Good choice.
But still there are four sprinters left in the list now.
I would let go of Oosterhof and Shiwak and then I would add Wubbe Molhoek, Lars Bjørndal and as seventh perhaps Jaspar Vandenbosch.

WT results are not listed I thought, so that would leave Perk with 4 wins and 6 results

I would not. A Tour rider could be in if he had enough results/points. But Vega and Staal does not meet the requirements IMO.
