I always vote according to the no wins = no vote method. I very rarely make exception on this, so not even for the #2 in the ranks.

I added Banas and removed nobody so that we can start voting.
Iaconnzo wouldn't make the final cut any way, so I left him out.

I would 100% put Banas in, since he finished 4th in the tour he won the YC in, so it's definitely worth something, but over Sokolowski. 0 wins is always a let down for me.
Also, Iaconzzo won 2 YC's in high rated tours finishing 3rd and 4th in them. I'd say that should get him a nomination as well.

But I see a YC vs points divide here.

I have chosen points instead of YC wins. Winning a YC is not always a big achievement in my belief.
My rider won the YC in TvA, but I did not even think about nominating him.

It is 1-1 now. I hope someone else could give the final blow on this one. Alípio Almada or Alonso Falcone would have to go out for Gustaw Banaś to go in.

Well, I must say my rider Gustaw Banas did much better than Alípio Almada. Almada won 1 normal race in div2, while Banas won YC jersey in div 2 tour (which for this category counts more) and 1 stage. Almada got only 2 other results: 3nd place in normal race div 1.2 and 7th place in a div 2 clasic, while Banas got 4: was 4th in GC div2 tour, 2nd and 3rd in div2 and div 1 races plus 2nd on a stage.

But if others say Almada was better I will shut up...
